Discover unique experiences, such as visiting local farmers and having them prepare coffee for you. Explore Fraternidad, a perfectly preserved 19th-century coffee processing building. Enjoy the distinctive character of Baracoa, the region where the majority of cacao is cultivated. Last evening featured a personal performance by Reuben Lester and his band, Gallo Negro, at Casa Dranguet.

Day 1: Pick up clients at the airport in Holguin and check into the Airbnb.

Day 2: After the complimentary breakfast, take a van to Santiago, which is a two-hour drive away. Check into the hotel, then meet Yaumara at Casa Dranguet. Enjoy lunch at Casa Dranguet and tour the coffee museum. In the late afternoon, visit Castillo del Moro in Santiago, a fort built in the 1600s at the head of the bay. Return to the hotel for a complimentary dinner at El Palenquito.

Day 3: After breakfast, meet Yaumara at Casa Dranguet. Travel by van to Casa Isabelica, a restored coffee plantation. Weather permitting, visit a large orchid garden. On the way, meet coffee farmers Daniel and Jenni, who will prepare coffee for the group. Visit to the Tercer Frente Experimental Coffee Station. Drive back to Santiago for dinner at El Palenquito. After dinner, attend a show at Casa de la Trova, famous for its live music. Return to the hotel.

Day 4: Take a trip into the Sierra Maestra mountains to visit Fraternidad, a totally rebuilt 19th-century coffee processing center, and also visit a cooperative. Return to Santiago.

Day 5: Take a trip to Guantanamo to visit one of the Lavazza farms. Continue on to Baracoa, where we will spend the night.

Day 6: Discover Baracoa, the landing site of Columbus in 1492. Enjoy the great beaches and the low number of tourists.

Day 7: Return to Santiago after breakfast for a relaxing day. Visit the Cuellar Museum, the oldest building in Cuba. After dinner, enjoy a complimentary concert performed in our honour by Ruben Lester and his band Gallo Negro at Casa Dranguet.

Day 8: Return to Holguin for the flight home.
